Digi pack images analysed.

This image is the front cover of the digi pack. The audience helped make the decision of this image so it should appeal to them as they have chosen this image. After researching Ed Sheeran's album '+' I saw that he was emerging out of the colour which I liked so I thought to link the front and back cover together I should add some black towards the fold of the cover to link the two sides together and for it to look interesting.I have also used the rule of thirds so the image is easy for the audience to look at and to have his face as the main focus. By choosing a close up of Lyndon with eye contact it is more persoanl and expresses a connection with the audience so they are more intregued by this digi pack. I edited the image so the background was black and white and using Ed Sheeran's album '+' which I researched to mould the background into his face to show a connection. The background isn't vibrant so I can add text on to so I will add the artists name and album title onto the image for the audience to recongnise the name and title. The reason I chose an image with the leaves as the background is so that it links with the music video I created. This shows a connection between the artist and his music, and also gives a hint to what the album track list is consisting of.
This image is the back ground of the digi pack. It links with the front cover with the dark background so it shows it all in one. This image was chosen as it was immediately interesting to the eye and the use of the fire as lighting showed up the artist in the image in an interesting and intriguing way. I hardly edited this image but I think it looks great as the back cover of the digi pack. This image also uses the rule of third so it is easy for the audience to look at and the fact that he is showed on the right side of the cover which is opposite the front cover, it shows a difference between the two close ups. A close up was chosen, even though I chose a close up for the front cover, this image has a strong connection to the audience and is more personal for the audience to look at. The text for the album track list will be added to the left side of this image where it is plain black.
This image is the left inside of the digi pack. The flowers represent the loving of the album and I edited it to black and white so that it links with the outside covers and also adds the mysteriousness to the digi pack. I edited this image so that just one flower is colourful which is quite hard to see, I found this looked interesting and creates wonder in the audiences mind. Using the editing tools I made that one colored flower the focal point whilst the surrounding image is blurred.
This image is the right inside of the digi pack which I cropped from the left inside image. I decided to use a close up of that one flower to add interest and I thought it looked very nice with the black and white effect with the flower in color. This image also links with the music video as the setting was outdoors in the natural surroundings so this image fits right in. I didn't want anything too heavy on this page as this is the page where the CD disc is situated so i tried to work around the centre instead of in it. By doing this I used the rule of thirds which will make it easy for the audience to look at and enjoy. Overall I am happy with the outcome of images and the way I have structured them to create a full digi pack. I shall now be concentrating on adding the text to the images and using photoshop to do so.
